Welcome to Sutton (StHelens) Cricket Club
Sutton Cricket club is now a CCDF club, which means the club is developing cricket within the community. The Club recieves funding to promote cricket in the area.
Sutton Cricket Club has five successful junior teams and three senior teams
The junior teams consist of under 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17's and are always looking for more and more players. The under 9s play in the Merseyside Youth Cricket League and the St Helens Development League, the remainding junior teams play in the Wigan and District Junior Cricket League. The Seniors have a 1st XI and a 2nd XI and a Sunday XI. The 1st and 2nd XI play on a Saturday in Liverpool and District Cricket Competition. The Sunday XI play in West Lancashire Cricket Leaue. They also welcome any people willing to play the game.
Sutton have many qualified coaches and more and more are currently training to be qualified coaches. We currently have 1 level 3, 2 head coaches, 6 level 2 and 2 level 1 coaches.
Please check out the club news section regularly as it will provide various information on forthcoming events that will be happening at the club throughout the summer.
Each year the site is gettin more hits, which is encouraging, but we would still like more people to become members of the site to give their ideas.
